The music was blaring, the girls danced, my beer was cold, it was the start of a great night. When I heard my song come on I had to go dance, sliding into the front room, or the dance floor I found myself pressed between two blondes, or heaven. Dancing against the taller of the two she leaned in and bit my ear, whispering her name as she did. grabbing her hips I grinded back on her and yelled. " I LOVE MY LIFEEEEEEE!".

Sitting at a corner table, Baylee took sips of a cold beer and gazed at the empty chair in front of her. Her eyes stared attentively at the TV screen mounted on the wall that was playing hockey. God, if Jake was only alive, none of this stuff would be happening. She wold be happily grinding with him. "Parties suck," Baylee murmured, staring at Cooper while he grinded with 2 blondes.

"So give me reason to prove me wrong, to wash this memory clean
Let the floods cross the distance in your eyes
Give me reason to fill this hole, connect the space between
Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies across this new divide
Across this new divide, across this new divide."

I knew it was time to leave the dance floor when my beer was out. Kicking myself for not bringing and extra with me I told the blondes I'd be back. The song changed and he instantly regretted it, seeing the two blondes pair off with different guys. Sighning he shouldered his away past Baylee's table and into the kitchen.

I grabbed three beers, and went back to Baylee's table, passing her a beer I sat down in one of the chairs. " Quit being a wallflower, arent you here to have fun? Get your mind off of things? Well this is the best way to do it."

Cracking open the other can of beer, Baylee looked murderously at Cooper. A strong shock went through the table and shocked Cooper enough, just to stun him a second. Her eyes lightening up a bit, she decided she really did need a break. Getting up, Baylee yanked him up and started dancing with him. "Maybe you're right, or maybe it's just PMS?" Baylee laughed at her own lame joke, and began doing some crazy dance move.

I laughed at the shock, feeling it all the way down to my toes. I smiled wider as she grabbed me and started to dance. "much better woman, but, those dance moves are weaksauce." As Baylee busted her best moves, I countered her moves with mine. Dropping it low like stripper workin for the money I shook it. "PMS? I sure hope not! You just need another beer or four." I said as I danced like it was the last dance ever.

Gazing curiously in his eyes, as if trying to see what was going on in his head, Baylee blinked slowly and smiled. She nodded and ordered a beer from the bartender. The icy cold beer sliding across the table and into her hands, Baylee grinned and cracked it open. Getting back on the dance floor and grinding against Cooper, Baylee took a sleezy gulp of beer between laughs.
